- What are the clinic hours?
Sue typically works 4-5 days per week from 1:00pm-7:00pm, and sometimes even Saturdays! An appointment is required. You can view her schedule and make an appointment here.
- What are the reception hours?
We have a virtual receptionist to help you with booking, cancellations, information, direct billing and anything else you may need. Please call 604-225-1254 and leave a message or email us at info@reachphysio.com and we will promptly get back to you.
- How can I find your online booking system?
The link to our online booking system is located on the far right hand end of the navigation menu, labelled “Book Now”
The direct link is reachphysio.janeapp.com
Here are some helpful tips for using the online booking system:
- If I can’t locate an appointment online, do you keep a waiting list?
Yes we do. You can easily add yourself to the waiting list by completing one of the contact forms on this website (on the right hand side of this page or at the bottom) and someone will contact you as soon as something comes up. You may still want to book ahead online.
- Can I book online last minute?
We understand that at times it’s nice to be spontaneous. Our online booking system allows you to book in up to 2 hours before the appointment is due to start. If that’s not spontaneous enough, it might be best to call the office.
- What is the cancellation policy?
We do require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations in order to have an opportunity to fill your vacancy. If the cancellation is within less than 24 hours notice and we are unable to fill your spot, your account will be charged a late cancel fee. If you fail to show up for a booked appointment, you will be charged a “no show” fee. Repeat occurrences will be charged the full amount of the missed visit.
- Do I need a doctor’s referral?
In BC, you can refer yourself to physiotherapy if you feel you could benefit. However, to receive reimbursement from some extended health plans, you may be required to show a doctor’s referral, so it’s a good idea to check with your insurance provider in order to assess your coverage requirements.
- What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, debit and cheques.
- My child/teenager is coming to physio/massage. Do I have to come to the clinic every time to pay for the visit?
We can easily and safely save your credit card number in your child’s profile and use it for payment. We can email you a copy of the receipts as well as give them to your child when they leave.
- Can I get copies of lost receipts?
You may contact the clinic by phone or email and a receptionist can easily reprint or write a receipt for you that is valid for insurance purposes. We can also email you a copy of the receipt if it is to keep for your own records.
- Can you bill my extended medical insurance company directly?
Yes, in some cases we can. Please see below which parties we deal with. If we bill an insurance company on your behalf and they do not reimburse us, you will be responsible for the charges.
NOTE: In order to survive as a small business and to prevent us from having to chase down unpaid bills, if you would like us to bill your insurance directly, we ask that you leave a credit card number (encrypted) on your account, that we will use to recover the treatment costs should the companies not pay.
We can direct bill to the following insurance companies:
Canada Life
Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan
Greenshield
Sunlife Financial
Pacific Blue Cross
Medavie Blue Cross
Manulife
Desjardins
Empire Life
Claim Secure
Group Health
D.A. Townley
RWAM
**Please note that the extent of coverage varies with each individual policy. Make sure to bring your plan details so that we can confirm your coverage with the insurance company.
- Do you deal with the Medical Services Plan of BC, RCMP or DVA clients?
Medical Services Plan of BC: MSP will cover $23.00 for 10 visits per year for individuals on premium assistance. Since they cover only a portion of the cost of the visit, you will be asked to pay the difference. Please bring your Care Card to your first visit so that we can verify your coverage.
RCMP /Department of Veteran Affairs: will cover 25 visits per year ( 30 minutes visits only) without a need of a doctor’s referral. For more coverage please see you doctor for a referral.
**If you are covered through a company or organization that is not listed above, all services are to be paid for at the time of treatment. Receipts are issued and can be submitted to your provider for reimbursement. Please check with your provider for more information or contact our office if you have any questions regarding billing and payment.
I am on an ICBC claim, what do i do?
We are not direct billing ICBC claims at this time. Please see another physiotherapy clinic for treatment of MVA injuries
- I have made my claim through Worksafe BC, can I come here for physio?
Unfortunately we recommend that clients on WorkSafe BC claims (accepted or pending) to go to Squamish Physio/PT Health.
- I’m not sure what I need, or if physio will help me? Should I seek physiotherapy or massage therapy?
If you have sustained an injury or have a new issue that has not been physically assessed, we would recommend that you be examined by a physical therapist first. Physiotherapy seeks to restore physical function which can include joint mobilization and exercise prescription.
