** Please note: Natalie is currently on maternity leave as of January 2018.
Natalie graduated from the 3000 hour program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2013 after completing a four year bachelor’s degree in dance at the University of Calgary. In 2015 Natalie completed her 200 hour Vinyasa yoga teacher training with Meghan Currie. She is constantly furthering her knowledge through hands on practice and continuing education courses in both yoga and massage therapy.
Natalie is knowledgable in the treatment of whiplash, respiratory and thoracic imbalances, sports/dance injury, and pre and post natal related pain. Her treatments include myofascial manipulation, muscle energy techniques, neuromuscular and trigger point therapy.
Natalie focuses on the underlying problem to restore the body to its balanced functioning state. She is passionate about educating her clients on their bodies and providing at home exercises so they can continue the healing process outside of the treatment room, and prevent further injury.
Dance and yoga continue to be a passion of hers. She loves the exploration of the human body in motion, its relation to expression, art and science. This has influenced how Natalie works, and continues to grow as a therapist. When she is not at the clinic Natalie can be found in the yoga studio, backpacking, hiking, and snowshoeing the trails of Squamish and Whistler with her dog Norman and her husband.

“My name is Simon Borley and i’ve been a customer of Reach for approximately 3 months .
I have suffered with hip and lower back problems for 20 years and resigned myself to a life of at best minimum discomfort but this last 6 months have had some other temporary health issues and with headaches decided to give a massage session a try to relax the muscles and relieve the cause .
I booked on line using the very simple appointment app used by reach and was able to select an appointment to suit my schedule, hence my introduction to Natalie Macleod.
My expectation were that of a relaxing , self indulgent treat , however , after Natalie consulted with me and set up some goals based on my long term recovery we had a plan set in place .
Natalies foresight and professionalism to her craft encouraged me to ” buy in ” to my now exciting rehab with a view to working together with her and self help to get my conditioning back and a more comfortable and mobile physique .
This look ahead to improving my comfort involved a reference to yoga and as excited as I was i attended my first class the evening of the same day and to my surprise I was welcomed to the class and was expected and introduced by one of Nathalie’s colleagues and have been regularly since .This was an amazing and kind gesture above and beyond , I would consider , her invested job description as she could tell from our consultation that I was committed and keen to make some serious investment in my own well being and after 3 months of Nathalie’s help i have attended my massage therapy and twice weekly yoga classes and have lost 22 unwanted pounds , my bmi and body fat is back to normal and my blood pressure is at its correct level .
This i know is due to Nathalie’s very subtle directional guiding .
So that being said is fantastic for me in the long term and is changing not only my comfort but my stress management and general feeling of well being for which collectively myself , Nathalie and my now good friend Richelle Muscroft of her own Yoga business are working together for my benefit and ive never felt so supported and of which I am unbelievably grateful .
The massage therapy with Nathalie is a continued process and with her amazing attention to the problem areas and constant feed back verbally and with physical responses by the affected areas , she is not only able to increase the joints recovery and mobility but will communicated with me and will both set me my corrective exercises and guide me to the yoga posses to best benefit each treatment based on my bodies response, a completely changing regiment based on each visit , no cooky cutting going through the motions treatment .
free myself from a kite line tangled around my leg whilst under tension, prior to therapy and yoga I could not have managed to manipulate my pelvis to a position that I could reach to self rescue , it may sound melodramatic and a bit embarrassing to say Nathalie and Richelle saved me from drowning but that’s simply what happened .
I will close this testimonial with a The deep tissue work can be intense and I know this recently saved me from drowning as during a kiteboarding accident I was trapped underwater and was able tofew pinpoint words to sum up all that Nathalie has become to me , professional , caring , very intuitive and very , very invested in making me the best I can be and for this I am truly grateful .
This young lady is amazing .
With the greatest respect to Richelle, as I did not ask her permission to name as part of my recovery and thank Nathalie for the difference she has made in my life , I know this testimonial may surprise her a little as she may not realise the impact of all her skill and help .
Regards to those that take the time to read this long thank you.
