Sue Shalanski PT

Physiotherapist & Owner BScPT RCAMPT CGIMS

I’ve been a physiotherapist for almost 14 years and I LOVE MY JOB!

Here’s my top 10 list as to “why I love my job”:

10.  My job keeps me moving all day long, while I keep others moving.

9.  I love helping the people of Squamish. I left for a few months but had to come back because you are so dear to me!

8. I get to work in a beautiful town like Squamish, a beautiful playground with so much to offer.

7. I really enjoy learning and being a physiotherapist means always furthering my education. I can’t see ever getting bored.

6. You are all different. Even if I treated sprained ankles all day, each one is a little different because YOU are all different. I enjoy the challenge and the variety you all bring.

5. I have a great TEAM. Yes, I picked them. They are ALL awesome. It’s the BEST part of being the clinic owner.

4. I can bring my dog to work. I’m a dog-lover, what can I say. I believe she is very therapeutic.

3. I can be the CREATOR of my life, what I see missing in the community and all that cool stuff. Join one of our neat “Movement Classes”, come to our Running Programs or sign up for a “30 Day Challenges”, to name a few. Check this site regularly to find out what’s happening.

2. I’m excited about the future. People are focusing on the HEALTH & WELLNESS like never before. This is thrilling for me. We as physios have OODLES of knowledge to share with you.

1. I get to help people FEEL GOOD, and that makes ME feel good. What’s better than that? I think that’s the coolest.

Cheers!
