Krisztina Pellet PT
I was born into a medical family in Budapest, Hungary. Growing up, conversations between my parents and grandparents, being medical professionals, seemed to always lead up to how they can positively influence people’s lives. Naturally, they had a great impact on my already keen sense of compassion and belief that I too can help make a change. This, in turn, has led me into the career of Physiotherapy that has proved to be a perfect choice for me. I love it!
I graduated in Hungary in 1993 and worked for years in the National Orthopedic and Rheumatology hospitals. In 1996, I moved to Toronto, Canada mainly to learn English but as I learned more about Canada, the more apparent my decision was to pursue my life and career in this country. Within the four years in Toronto, I worked as a Physiotherapist assistant in old age homes, a nanny for families with children with special needs and as a kinesiologist in a private clinic.
I’ve spent close to 40 years abusing my body through sport and have subsequently been to many different phsiotherapists. Krisztina is easily the best physio I have ever been to. She obviously has an extraordinary amount of knowledge and experience, as well as a keen clinical mind. She was extremely compassionate and had a genuine interest in helping me through my crisis and beyond, to prevent future issues. She is truly a gifted healer. Thanks Krisztina!

After passing the Canadian National Physiotherapy exam, I decided to move out west to B.C. Since my move 10 years ago, I have been working as a full time Physio at Squamish Physio where I treated a wide range of conditions and all ages. Among some my patients are high performance athletes, people who have had surgery, work related injuries or automobile accidents. Also, I spent some of my time at Motion Physio in Pemberton and in Whistler in the return to work rehabilitation program. Three years ago, I expanded my scope of practice to the elderly population by working at Hill Top House where I am still currently employed. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work in acute care at Squamish Hospital on occasion.
I believe Squamish is a wonderful place to live, work and play! It has a very balanced caring community, a great team of health care professionals to work with and beautiful surroundings.
My treatment philosophy is to provide the best care possible and help people reach their maximum potential to achieve their goals. I believe, as a Physiotherapist, that each person’s injury or condition is individual and requires different approaches and skills to treat. For this reason, I keep my post-graduate education up to date and diverse in the physiotherapy field. I am looking forward to working with Sue and her excellent team at Reach Physio!!?
