Our NEXT 30 Day Fitness Challenge - January 5th, 2009
On January 5th, 2009, we launch the next 30 Day Challenge, just in time for implementing some of those New Years resolutions! We hope you’ll join us. All you need is an internet connection to participate. For 30 days in a row starting Jan. 5th, you must do a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise a day everyday and log those workouts on our group site where we can monitor your progress. Exercises that qualify include: all types of cardio, stretching, yoga, strength training and group classes (aerobics, martial arts, dancing etc etc.). All participants who complete the challenge qualify to enter the draw. The draw winner has a choice of one of three great prizes, either an iPod Touch, a Wii System with WiiFit or a cruiser bike! WOW!

Package #1- A Pre and Post Challenge Assessment conducted by a physiotherapist covering 4 keys area for prevention of injuries: flexibility, strength, balance and core muscle control. We don’t want you to end up sidelined with an injury after taking up exercising every day! The pre-assessment takes 90 minutes and the post-assessment is 45 minutes in length. You will receive physiotherapy receipts for the sessions which can then be submitted to your extended health plan, if you are covered. Package #2- An introduction to one on one personal training. 4 one hour sessions that will take place at TLC Fitness’ Studio on Hospital Hill to get you on track with exercises specifically designed JUST FOR YOU! Package #3- “The Works”! A complete head-to-toe physical assessment pre-challenge followed by a post-assessment challenge to evaluate your progress, conducted by a physiotherapist. After your “pre” assessment, you will proceed to set up sessions at TLC Fitness’ personal training studio for a program designed just for you. This package includes a total of 4 one hour training sessions to be used within 12 weeks of the first session. To complete the “full meal deal”, you’ll get an entry to the Challenge and a free pedometer as well.
